Your idea about using diff instruments for different colours is great!
I wish we had so many instruments as colours are!!
by the way .. the piano sound is used only for the prototype...
when the number of colours (sounds) are increased we will use plain simple frequencies. (Beeps)
you are also right about background colour and length and breadth.
we have already considered those points and infact thats the reason we have the second dimension of luminance (amount of light) corresponding to the volume of the note/frequency.
Your idea about creating a touch board is brillaint!! we will surely work to make something like it.. with little modification to include color identification on beads!
